News in widening circles
A drop of change spreads outward. Ripple Nigeria follows how national reforms reach students, workers, traders and first-time voters.
Who we are
Ripple Nigeria is a youth-focused news magazine. We cover politics, the economy, the City Boy Movement and the programmes that shape the lives of young Nigerians, written in plain language for people who live with the results.
Where we stand
We are open about our point of view. Ripple Nigeria is a pro-reform publication that is supportive of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, the All Progressives Congress and the City Boy Movement. We believe the reforms of the past three years, including subsidy removal, currency unification and tax restructuring, are the right foundation for a younger, more productive Nigeria.
Having a point of view does not change the facts. We keep the two separate.
How we work
- Compiled from public reports. Our stories are compiled from published news reports and official statements, including releases from the State House and federal ministries. We do not invent quotes, figures, people or events.
- Every story lists its sources. Each article ends with links to the original reports so you can check our work.
- Claims are attributed. When a number is a claim, such as a group’s membership figure or a vote target, we say who made it.
- Quotes are on the record. Our “In their words” feature uses only quotes reported from public events, with attribution.
- Bylines. Articles are credited to Ripple Nigeria Staff.
- Openly licensed photos. We illustrate stories with clearly captioned file photos from Wikimedia Commons, credited to each photographer under their licence. See the photo credits below.
